The RCS range of ceiling loudspeakers has been carefully designed to satisfy the most critical eye. These units are stylish yet unobtrusive and can be supplied with or without firedomes (FT & FTS versions).
Made from a pressed steel epoxy coated chassis incorporating a twin cone driver, which has a wider frequency range than the standard single cone, this makes the RCS range more suitable for use in applications where background music is a primary requirement.
In compliance with BS5839 part 8, the "FTS" versions incorporate a ceramic terminal and thermal fuse and are, therefore, suitable for use in voice alarm applications.
Miniature Ceiling Loudspeakers
The RCS 4/T, miniature ceiling loudspeaker is an addition to our highly successful RCS range. Employing a 4" high quality, plastiflex treated dual cone, it is ideally suited for areas where space is a premium. Supplied with a 4 watt line transformer, this unit is suitable for general public address requirements.
The plastiflex treated cone means this loudspeaker can also be used in humid atmospheres such as bathrooms and clean room areas.
In compliance with BS5839 part8, the RCS 4/FTS incorporates a steel firedome, ceramic terminal, thermal fuse and is, therefore, suitable for voice alarm applications.
Ease of installation is a key feature of these units, incorporating a user friendly concealed spring mounting arrangement that enables quick and easy access to the speaker once it has been installed.
