DPAfour Digital Amplifiers

The DPAfour amplifiers are primarily designed for integration into Voice Alarm systems, but thanks to its flexibility, it can also be used for any Commercial application. Developed to comply with the requirements of EN 60849, UL60065, ISO 7240-16, BS5839 Part 8 & 9 and certified to EN54-16.

The DPAfour is a 2U 19" rack mountable, 4-channel class-D power amplifier; transformer isolated for 100V, 70V, 50V and 4 Ohm distributed loudspeaker systems.

There are two models in the DPAfour range:

Each channel can be paralleled or bridged by combining 2 channels providing a single channel output with double the power or all 4 channels to provide a single channel with 4x the power.

The DPAfour can be powered by either a 110/230VAC mains supply or 24VDC supply able to support a battery back-up system for use in the event of mains failure and emergency evacuation systems.

DPAfour amplifiers have short-to-ground, short-circuit; overload and temperature overheat protection including line-impedance surveillance with a maximum of 5% deviation using the IDA8 or DIVA8 systems for loudspeaker-line surveillance. They support both single spur and redundant loop (A/B) cabling.
